Treliske Hospital

Created using Pan Pastels and coloured pencils, this piece was created to brighten the new Oncology Unit at Treliske Hospital, Truro. Using research into the therapeutic benefit of artwork for recovery, I created this piece to be able to be looked at repeatedly for long periods of time, allowing the patients to spot new details and imagine their own narratives. Through the use of colour and soft pastel, it creates a bright and hopeful atmosphere, combining symbols within nature of community, pathways, journeys and overcoming obstacles together. Longlisted for the 2023 World Illustration Awards, New Talent.
